About Me

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I have a great deal of Ohio pride and will cheer the Browns on during every crushing defeat. There is nothing I love more than exploring, adventuring, and being active. In Ohio I love to paddle board, pick blueberries, and hike. Growing up outside of a large city I was lucky to have a small town experience with opportunities of a large city. In high school I was involved with many clubs as well as being a three-sport athlete. I was President of Key Club, Vice President of Science Club, and was a captain of the softball team. My junior year I interned with Representative John Patrick Carney at the Ohio State House. My senior year I was the Neighborhood Team Leader for the Obama Campaign where I was in charge of organizing and lead neighborhood team meetings, phone banks, canvases, and data entry. When I was working on the campaign I feel in love in strategy of the campaign and decided to go to American University in Washington, DC. I have loved exploring D.C. these past four years. I have been apart of the SPA Leadership Program that has opened up a lot of opportunities for me.
