Lectures given included topics such as transitional justice, structural violence, and active versus passive peace. This experience was transformative. It opened her mind up to new theories, ideas, and opinions on how to examine conflict and peace.\u00a0 Moreover, it made her more aware of the increasing globalization of our society and forced her to re-evaluate the way in which she thought international relations are currently conducted. Furthermore, she has an interest in analyzing the strategies of insurgent groups. Recently, she interned at the United States National Central Bureau of INTERPOL. At INTERPOL, she was an intern in the Global Police Services Division where she assisted in ascertaining the location of foreign fugitive in the US and US fugitives abroad.<\/p>\n<p>She also is a member of the School of Public Affairs Leadership Program, during her second year in the program she aided first-year students as a teaching assistant.
