This is important because this is the very first thing that guests see when they enter the hotel.

In the picture you can see some modernist architectural techniques from the intricate glass windows. Also seen in this picture is an American Flag that the hotel had put up.

You can see several guests relaxing and talking to hotel employees. Not featured in this photograph is a cart of pastries and desserts located in the lobby that guests can sample from on there way to and from the hotel.
This is a photograph I took of the ceiling of the lobby at the Westin Washington D.C City Center. In this picture you can see the windows of some of the guest rooms, as well as a gorgeous glass roof that reminds me of a green house. From this image you can see several different aspects of modernism within the architecture.
