Ryan Roden/ Joon-Ho Ahn is an graduate student at American University’s School of International Service, working with the Global Governance, Politics, and Security program. Ryan is focusing his studies on Maritime Southeast Asia, with specific emphasis on multinational identity construction and nationalism in a post-colonial context.
Aside from supporting operations, student outreach and logistics for the ASEAN Studies Initiative as the current Student Coordinator, Ryan Ahn is also the Program Senator for the Global Governance, Politics and Security Program. He has previously worked with the East-West Center in Washington under the Young Professionals Program, the East Asia Practice at Albright Stonebridge Group, and the Southeast Asia Program at the Stimson Center.
