Graduating American University student passionate about bettering health policy and the healthcare system in Washington D.C.
My name is Bridget Anshus and I will be graduating from American University in Washington D.C. this fall with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies: Communications, Law Institutes, Economics, and Government (CLEG), a minor in marketing, and a Certificate in Advanced Leadership.
Throughout the last four years at AU, I have held internships at different nonprofits and consulting firms gaining experience and expertise in health policy and advocacy. I am involved in various organizations on campus such as the School of Public Affairs Leadership Program, Alpha Phi Omega – national service fraternity, and the American University Chapter of the College Diabetes Network.
In addition to my studies and my involvement on campus, I really enjoy being outdoors, biking around the city and eating at new restaurants (always on the lookout for recommendations). Upon graduation, I will be staying at Venn Strategies as a Fellow further gaining professional experience in the field. I hope to get my masters degree in Public Health in the next 2 years.
