Internships

PBS Books Support Team Coordinator
Rich Fahle Interviewing RJ Palacio at National Book Festival.
Photograph of me with Madeline Albright just before her interview with Rich Fahle in 2018.

Every year I work for PBS Books at the National Book Festival hosted by the Library of Congress. I work behind the scenes to help the interviews occur seamlessly, organize authors and escorts, and help the PBS Books staff. The photo to the left is an example of the photos that I take for the social media team to post on a variety of platforms. Aside from taking photos for the interviews’ promotion, I answer questions from any of the guests, escorts, attendees, etc. at the table by the stage. I help with the mic process and ensuring the interviewer and interviewees have the necessary resources before going live.

Mike Levin’s Campaign for Congress
Canvassing Group at San Clemente Office (I am on the right)

As an intern for Mike Levin’s Campaign for Congress, I was able to see the democratic process first hand by working for my district’s House race (CA-49). This opportunity and experience reassured me of my hopes to dedicate my life to politics and government. I spent hours each week phone banking, organizing volunteers, attending campaign events, and knocking on doors to help Levin win the primary and general elections.
