Carly Holencik is a sophomore at American University pursuing a BA in International Relations with a double minor in German language and International Business. As part of the Olson Scholars 2019-2020 cohort, Carly hopes to delve into how religious communities deal with environmental issues, specifically the role Islamic theocracies play in global climate initiatives. Outside of her studies, Carly is involved in Amnesty International and March For Our Lives at American University. In her free time, you can find her attempting to emulate Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen or at The Bridge reading and listening to music.
