American University’s Project on Civil Discourse encourages students to understand speech not only as a matter of rights, but of responsibilities, values, and opportunities. The Project supports this goal through peer-led workshops, teaching resources, distinguished guest speakers, and a blog featuring student voices and commentary on current civil discourse issues.
