Pedagogy-Driven Instructional Workshops

In collaboration with the AU Core Curriculum and the University Library, CTRL hosted the CTRL Pedagogy-Driven Instructional Workshops, which took place during the third and fourth weeks of May.

This year’s program included curriculum-based workshops on topics such as active learning, curriculum design, and grading strategies; instructional technology workshops on topics such as video creation, creating surveys in Qualtrics, and the Blackboard gradebook; a Community-Based Learning institute; two Complex Problems Faculty Fellows Workshops; as well as “Office Hours” hosted by faculty from each of the AU Core’s five Habits of Mind.

On May 16, we featured a special luncheon for winners of the 2017-2018 CTRL Faculty Awards at noon in the Abramson Family Founders Room in SIS where we learned more about the classroom accomplishments of our winners.
