One of the final tasks in Purdue University’s online Master of Science in Education in Learning Design & Technology (LDT) program is the LDT Portfolio course.
In this course, I developed an electronic competency portfolio that includes artifacts, narratives, and a competency table. See the table below, and click into each competency to see the artifacts that demonstrate my mastery of the requirements.
The competency portfolio is designed to reflect the depth and breadth of my educational growth since entering the LDT graduate program. From the university’s perspective, the purpose of the competency portfolio is to demonstrate that I have mastered the graduate competencies for the Master’s program. The eight competencies are based on the Curriculum & Instruction departmental competencies and several LDT-specific competencies. The competency portfolio is a requirement for graduation from the LDT Master’s program, and as such, my portfolio has been reviewed and approved by committee members.
