To schedule a formal course review, please submit the EOE Quality Assurance Review Request Form. Requests will be reviewed by AU’s Office of Digital Learning and Strategy and you will receive the results of the review within 10 working days.
Your school’s designated instructional designer is also available to help you align your course with EOE guidelines and best practices.
Meet the Instructional Design Team
Zhiping Zhang
Zhiping is an Instructional Designer at the Office of Digital Learning and Strategy. Known for her love of visual storytelling and innovative educational technology, she thrives on designing high-quality and engaging online learning experience for people to connect, interact, learn, and grow together. Zhiping partners with AU faculty to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate online and hybrid courses using an agile design approach. She also provides advice for instructional challenges and trains faculty to leverage technology and implement teaching pedagogy effectively.
Olivia Elwell
Olivia has a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Lynchburg College. She has taught for four years in the elementary school general education classroom. During her time in the classroom, she taught students from diverse backgrounds with unique learning needs. As a result, has extensive experience designing inclusive lessons that meet the needs of every student. Inclusive learning experiences are developed by understanding your learners. She is passionate about creating learner-centered instruction that enhances student learning. She enjoy’s designing for face-to-face instruction, blended, and online learning.
