Welcome! I am an undergraduate student at American University in Washington, D.C. I am majoring in political science, minoring in African American and African Diaspora Studies, and will receive a certificate in Advanced Leadership Studies. I am from Boston, MA, where I attended The Winsor School. After college, I hope to receive my MPP and JD after a gap year working as a paralegal. I am interested in public defense law. At American University, I have served as a Resident Assistant for American University’s Black Affinity Housing in its inaugural year, as well as a Teaching Assistant for the School of Public Affairs Leadership Program. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I will serve as Student Director of the School of Public Affairs Leadership Program. Outside of college, I have interned in the Policy Department of the world-renowned Center for Policing Equity and for Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley. My other achievements at the university include receiving the inaugural Professor Elizabeth A. Sherman Prize for Social Justice and the Robert and Christine Johnson Scholarship from the School of Public Affairs, as well as being selected for the Office of Merit Awards’ Early Identification Program.
