Professor of Information Technology and Analytics
Kogod School of Business

Research:
My background is in decision analysis. I’ve worked in many different areas.
Right now the sorts of things I’m focusing on are:
-Formulating objectives for large or complex decision settings
-The behavior of betting market forecasts
-How to quantify people’s preferences and incorporate them into decisions…
…when the decisions affect other people
…when the outcomes are spread across a geographic region
…when the outcomes are spread out over time
Teaching:
I teach primarily analytics courses. At Kogod, I coordinate and teach both
KSB-224: Business Analytics (UG) and ITEC-620: Business Insights Through Analytics (GR). I also developed and teach ITEC-447/647: Sports Analytics.
