Hello, my name is Jake Mulroy and I am a biology<\/a> major at American University<\/a>. I will be graduating in 2019 with a B.S. and hope to attend physician’s assistant school after. I have a passion for problem-solving and helping people. This past summer, I shadowed an emergency room doctor at Virtua Hospital<\/a> in Mt. Holly, NJ. There, I received training in patient-to-patient contact as well as saw what the life of a doctor is like. In the past I have worked at Friendship Heights Hospital for Animals<\/a> in Friendship Heights, Washington D.C. as an intern who helped veterinarian and veterinarian technicians with patients.
