About Me

Hi there! My name is Josee Molavi, and I’m a driven and invested student leader working to learn and grow as a young professional in the political field. I have a strong commitment to progressive policy and communications and am passionate about a variety of issues such as social justice, environmental protection, immigration, and women’s rights.

My experience ranges from student organizing with the Maryland High School Democrats and campaign work with the Maryland Democratic Party, legislative staffing for the Maryland General Assembly, interning on Capitol Hill, and strategic communications, writing, and graphic design for various publications and political organizations.

I am studying Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics and Government at American University in Washington, D.C. in the Politics, Policy and Law Three-Year Scholars Program and School of Public Affairs Leadership Program. On campus, I serve on the Residence Hall Council for Letts, Clark and Roper Halls and sing with my acapella group, Treble in Paradise.

I can be reached best at jomolavi@gmail.com. Or, you can connect with me on Linkedin.
