The Gates of Gonzaga (Historical/Exterior #2)

This is a picture of the main gates at Gonzaga High College High School. When I visited, there was a lock on the gate and it was closed. I would assume that during the week, when school is in session the gate is open. The gate is made of black rod iron. It is connected to two pillars made of brick and cement with eagle statues on top of both pillars. Just behind the gate is St. Aloysius Church (19 Ist NW) which is a Roman Catholic parish church. The church building was originally constructed in 1859 and is apart of the National Register of Historic Places. It is physically connected to the rectory which leads to Dooley Hall. Layout can be found on the campus map.
