Katalina Khoury

I am a development/public anthropologist. I conduct and study practices that seek to increase the integrity & validity of social research by engaging local & other relevant communities, or the public at large, in research processes. This is toward collaborative, community-formulated research and meaningful storytelling. In particular, my research interests are in processes of development-caused displacement and gentrification, neoliberal globalization, media, public policy, and qualitative research methods.
