I am currently an Intern at the Center for Israel Studies.at American University. I love interning there and the mission of the organization is very important to me.<\/p>\n

The Center for Israel Studies is a non-partisan center that educates people about Israeli politics, history, and culture through a variety of fascinating events. My duties and responsibilities are mostly to do outreach for upcoming events by reaching out to students, community members, and student groups. <\/span>My favorite part of the internship is attending the events and learning more about Israel. Also, the Center for Israel Studies feels more like a family than a formal job or internship.<\/p>\n

The mission of the Center for Israel Studies means a lot to me. I studied abroad in Jerusalem, Israel last year and I had a very meaningful experience there. As a Jewish woman, Israel is very important to me. When my internship ends, I will continue to learn about Israel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by a family of Russian Jewish immigrants. I take the lessons that my resilient family has taught me everywhere I go.<\/p>\n

I am currently a senior at American University in Washington, D.C. At AU, I study Political Science and Communications.<\/p>\n

I am very passionate about education, all things NYC, and learning about people from all over the world. I hope to pursue a career in education or journalism after I leave college.<\/p>\n
