Forms of Sex

Different Forms of Sex

  • Sex with one or more partners:
    • VAGINAL SEX (penis-in-vagina intercourse)
    • ORAL SEX (mouth-to-genital contact)
      • Dental Dam (for vaginal use)
      • Condom (for penile use)
    • ANAL SEX (penis-in-anus intercourse)
      • Condom
      • Anti STI Measure (See Sexually Transmitted Infections)
    • FINGERING / HANDJOBS (hand-to-genital contact)
  • With no partners:
    • MASTURBATION
      • Touching yourself for sexual pleasure
      • There is a lot of stigma around masturbations, but it is important to remember that this is completely normal, most people do it, and the stigmas/myths surrounding it are not true
    • With or without partners:
      • DRY HUMPING
        • Rubbing genitals together either with clothing on or off
      • SEX TOYS
        • Use lube
        • Clean before and after use

General Tip: Always Use Lube!

  • What kind of lube should you use and when?
    • Water Based
      • With latex & non-latex condoms
      • Easy to wash off
      • All sex toys
      • Requires reapplication
    • Silicone/Oil Based
      • All non-latex sex toys
      • Non-latex Condoms
        • Oil and silicone based lubricants break down condoms made out of latex and causes them to break
      • Reapplication is not always required
      • Difficult to clean (can stain clothing / other materials)
