Hello! I am Liliana Zigo. I am pleasantly pleased that you have found your way to my ePortfolio page.
Originally from Boston, I graduated from Arlington High School in 2014. There I was the captain of both the Girl’s Cross Country Team and Mock Trial Team. I was a student leader of the Intergenerational Book Club. My love of cross-country inspired me to establish and coach the Ottoson Middle School running program.
This past summer I was a junior counselor at Running Brook Day Camp in Waltham, MA. This was my twelfth year at the camp and third summer as a counselor. Nothing makes me happier than being a role model for my campers and playing alongside them.
Currently, I am a first year Public Health undergraduate in the College of Arts and Sciences at American University. I am part of the American University Honors Program, an interdisciplinary cohort comprised of forty-three students. I am also a member of the inaugural class of the CAS (College of Arts and Science) Leadership Program. Through this seminar, the class explores what is means to be an ethical and effective leader.
At American University I am involved in the AU Ambassadors and am a staff photographer for the AU Photo Collective.
I am looking forward to the next four years with AU as my home!
