Digital Archive: Historical Signs

My photo of a sign in Dupont Circle.

While I was walking around in Dupont Circle I noticed several of the  blue landmark signs I usually see downtown. I know that Dupont Circle is close to downtown DC, but I did not know that the blue landmark signs were there. The signs are meant to show visitors where certain historic landmarks are. These signs are so cool because they really make you feel like a part of history. I love history so I always get excited when I see signs like this. I took a picture of one that gives the general direction to the White House because the White House is the most important landmark in the city. The picture is low quality but the sign also points to Lafayette Square, Logan Circle, and National Geographic Explorer Hall.
