Hello everyone!  I go by just Maria since Maria Isabel can be a mouthful.  I live in the Northern Virginia area and am currently attending American University in Washington D.C. as a graduate student in the Public Anthropology Master’s program.  My main study interests are mental health, health, social movements, and ethnomusicology.
