About Me

Natalie McCarthy

Hey! My name is Natalie, and I’m currently a freshman going through the SPA Leadership Program and Justice and Law at American University in DC. Raised in a military family, I call Alabama home but I’m currently based out of Connecticut while completing school online.

After graduation, I hope to work in government service to address issues such as national security as well as domestic policy. Being a member of the New Haven FBI’s FLEYA program, I hope to get involved in working within the FBI or the ATF during the course of my career.

I have extensive leadership experience, having been elected into leadership positions five times during my high school career. I find my success through my primary values of integrity, ingenuity, and impassioned dedication. When I’m not involved in my community or committed to my studies, I spend my free time competing as a nationally ranked saber fencer and trying my hand at watercolor painting.
