‘Hibakusha, Our Life to Live’ tells the stories of Japanese, Korean and American survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Their stories unfold through the journey of Yoko, an eight-year old girl and Eiji, a survivor and Yoko’s music teacher. Little by little Yoko learns about Eiji’s hibakusha experience. Soon she discovers Sadako and the story of the thousand cranes.
