A little about me:
Hello, my name is Olivia Bell and I am a senior biology major at American University in Washington, D.C.. I plan on attending medical school and have a heavy research focus throughout my career as a physician. Throughout the past 6 months, I have conducted research at the Biomedical Research Institute in Rockville, Maryland. My research includes work on parasitic worms and exploiting their pathogenesis to create a non-opiodal drug therapy. I have mastered using PCR and often conduct many cloning/plasmid assembly reactions. I would like to gain more experience researching on primate models in the future.
Please contact me with any questions or interest and feel free to check out my resume for additional information. Also, check out my current projects and read my Barry Goldwater Research Scholarship Essay.
