Originally from Westchester, New York, I attended Westlake High School (W.H.S.) and acquired numerous professional and leadership experiences through organizations in and out of school. During high school, I had the privilege to attend the Harvard University Summer School Program and the Columbia University Summer Program for High School Students, where I developed a strong work ethic, maturity, and leadership skills. To name a few experiences, I served as President of the W.H.S Junior State of America Chapter for two consecutive years, was appointed by the Principal and Vice Principal to be the Student Body Representative for the school’s Building Leadership Team, and worked with Congresswoman Nita Lowey as a Campaign Associate Intern on her 2012 campaign.
I graduated W.H.S. in 2014 as a lifetime Honor Roll student with a strong passion for political science and performing arts and a golden ticket to pursue an undergraduate education in the nation’s capital. Now at American University, I am pursuing an interdisciplinary BA in Communications, Law, Economics, and Government with a Minor in Music for Vocal Performance. I am currently a member of the University Honors Program and the School of Public Affairs Leadership Program, in which I am working towards a social action project to tackle the issue of corporate and consumer responsibility pertaining to environmental health and sustainability.
In the future, I hope to apply my skills to advocate education reform in third world countries.
