My Passions

A Few Interests

Over the last few years I have found that I have several interests. Many of these revolve around policy issues and their solutions. Some of these include education reform (both K12 and Higher), technology development and regulation, natural resources and environment, and many others. These are topics I try to regularly research and maintain a current account of the issues. The experiences I have sought professionally have allowed me to explore these issues in a fascinating way. Whether I was  developing policy memos on an idea or participating in lobbying strategies, it was always more fun to work on things I was interested in. I enjoyed involving myself directly with the issues through communication strategies, government and public relations, and actionable research.

Work Hard, Play Hard

If working hard and playing hard is an attitude, I like to think I live by it. Most of this website has shown that working hard is something I believe in. But I want to highlight some of the other things that I enjoy outside of the work. Whether this is volunteering for a cause I support or playing in a recreational soccer league (currently looking!) I think it’s important to find something fun to do on the weekends. Hitting the gym or finding a new book is a great way for me to relax at the end of the day. One of my favorite things to do is finding a new restaurant and exploring the intricate world of food. I can’t count the number of cookbooks I’ve invested in but its been fun to invent new meals – and the perfect wine pairing – for my friends and family. I’m always looking for a new activity, spice, and adventure!
