I want to have a major that will help me cultivate me into the best person I can be. I am thinking of majoring in English with a minor in the SPA Leadership Program and Business. These subjects will help me improve my communication skills with writing and speaking to others. Being able to communicate is important not only in the academic world but also in the career world. I want to pursue a job in the military that can lead to further opportunities such as being able to pursue higher education. Being in the military is important to me because I want to have a solidified purpose in the world knowing that I am making an impact for good.  Military is also a place where you can have lifelong connections which is important when I retire but also important for me socially.
