Authentic German Bread –

After our last lab in which we made our own bread I thought that some you might be interested in baking a traditional German “Bauernbrot” (Farmer Bread). Similar to the bread that my group made during the lab, the german bread is baked with all-purpose flour. For a traditional German bread, you often mix all purpose with whole wheat flour.

And trust me, no American Bagel tastes as good as a fresh German Bauernbrot!
