Rice = Medication

Rice primarily used today as sides on main dishes, or in other cases to help save a wet cellphone. Rice can absorb water, so if you put your in a bucket of rice within a certain amount of time your phone will keep. But I recently that rice can also be use as medication. According to http://www.kew.org/science-conservation/plants-fungi/oryza-sativa-rice, Oryza sativa (rice) is used as, to treat skin conditions, and when molded into balls, rice can be applied to boils, sores, swellings and skin blemishes. This amazing to know I never realized rice something so small has many uses. Additionally “Sticky glutinous rice is often taken to treat stomach upsets, heart-burn, and indigestion. Extracts from brown rice have been used to treat breast and stomach cancer and warts.”It’s amazing how rice something so small is changing the world.
