Vegan macaroons!

Hi everyone!

Here is a very yummy recipe for vegan chocolate amaretto macaroons! I know we have learned about making egg white foam in the lab, and this recipe uses chick pea liquid as a replacement for egg white foam. How wild!

  1. Macarons are actually some of my favorite little, sweet snacks that I never get to have too often (and on top of that amaretto is one of my favorite flavors). It’s always interesting to see the different way recipes can be made without the ingredients usually known to make it. I had never even thought that chickpeas could be used to replace egg whites, it’s just such an inventive idea; and looking at the pictures it looks like it could taste really good too!
