I am a first semester senior at the American University School of International Service where I major in International Studies. I have a concentration in U.S. Foreign Policy & National Security and a secondary concentration in the Global Political Economy. My regional, academic focus is in East Asia and the Pacific.
Originally from Connecticut, I have always been fascinated with the interconnectedness of things; especially at the point of contact. Whether in diplomacy, public affairs, bureaucratic administration, or even interpersonal relations, everything fits – it’s only a matter of figuring out how. This has driven me both academically and career-wise to observe, study, and practice bringing things together. Employment in government and trade relations, commercial diplomacy, public affairs, and/or policy and strategic planning are all fields in which I can see myself thrive. Upon graduation in December 2018, I am looking to apply these passions, my extensive internship experiences, and academic background in an engaging, innovative, and dynamic environment. I am driven by tough problems and the search for unique solutions.
