This 2016 infographic map of the Vietnam War uses Department of Defense declassified digital geographic data on bombings throughout the war to paint a haunting picture of the damage exacted by US forces. It also includes a description of the major operations that corresponded with the bombings, and shows attacks outside of Vietnam as well. This was produced using a GIS (geographic information systems) software and the maker actually included all of his materials so others could make their own versions.
