Commonplace: Georgia Referendum

“Shall Property owned by the University System of Georgia and utilized by providers of college and university student housing and other facilities continue to be exempt from taxation to keep costs affordable?”

This referendum is intended for it’s audience, high school students and college students, since it creates an appeal for the school to be affordable, and therefore attract students to apply there. The sentence is very formal, probably since it’s intended use is to be convincing. If universities were exempt from taxation, education costs could become a lot more affordable.
