The rest of the street the apartment is nestled into is quite intriguing architecturally. Many of the buildings of the street are bustling with residents. They mimic the diversity of the rest of the city. I was lucky enough to be there on a nice day when the weather was warm. Most of the buildings had left their doors open to let the occasional cool breeze in, but seemed quite odd given the dangerous situation portrayed in the book. The neighborhood has changed for the better.
