2022 Inaugural AU & Beyond Expo
AU & Beyond began in 2022 as an experiential learning project by a class of American University School of Communication Public Relations students who deserve credit for starting this fantastic event and designing the original logo.
This conference highlighted six unique panels of professors, community members, and students who shared their experiences with a variety of experiential learning opportunities, and was followed by a reception showcasing informational posters from other students and on-campus organizations.
The conference was a partnership between the PR class, led by SOC professor Gemma Puglisi, SOC professor Sarah Menke-Fish, and AU librarian Olivia Ivey, who help coordinate the university’s experiential learning efforts.
