Animal Cruelty Data: A Survey of State UCR Programs
In 2012, I partnered with colleagues at the Animal Welfare Institute to identify the availability of animal cruelty crime data collected by police. This work provided the foundation for the FBI including animal cruelty in its Uniform Crime Reporting Program. The report summarizing our findings can be found here:
