About Me

I earned my bachelors degrees in physics and mathematics at the University of Rochester, where I spent a bit of time in Prof. Nick Bigelow’s lab. After the snow of upstate NY, I moved to the desert. I attended the University of Arizona, and earned my PhD in physics while working in the group of Prof. Poul Jessen. After Arizona, I moved back to the east coast where I was a Joint Quantum Institute Postdoctoral Fellow working with Dr. Paul Lett at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the University of Maryland.

I started as an assistant professor of physics at American University in Fall 2017.
