The SPA Leadership Program has not only prepared me to be a leader in my future career, but has inspired me to chase my dreams and achieve my goals. The research and social action project have taught me the essential skills to conduct a successful project reaching a particular goal. Additionally, the leadership theories I have learned apply directly to the leadership roles I hold today. For instance, in many internship interviews, I discuss the leadership theories I have learned in this program, while also highlighting the leadership skills I have gained through completing a year long project. Not only that, I have gained confidence to achieve my academic and personal goals, through applying skills I have learned in the program. Finally, the Leadership program has opened a world of networking and opportunities that would not be possible anywhere else. Please read more about my reflections HERE.
