Hi! My name is Grace Musilli.
I am from Wantage, New Jersey, a small rural town in the northwest corner of the state. I live with my younger brother, my mom, my dad, and my golden retriever, Baylor (not named after the school).
I am a student at American University in Washington D.C. My major is interdisciplinary and unique to AU, it is called Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG). I am also lucky enough to be in the Politics, Policy, and Law (PPL) Scholars Program, a three-year BA program and learning and living community. While I don’t know what I want my career to be, I am interested in everything public policy and political science. I hope to work in an area that I’m passionate about, like the fight for environmental justice or educational equity.
Through the SPA Leadership Program not only am I pursuing a certificate in Advanced Leadership Studies, but I am also developing skills that will help me throughout life. I get to work with amazing peers, study what I care about, and become a better person. I am excited to see where our social action projects take us.
