I am a seasoned marketing scholar with broad expertise on race, diversity and market dynamics based on varied academic and professional professional experiences across academic disciplines and private, government and non-profit sectors.

I have taught marketing and related  topics in marketing to undergraduate and graduate students,  I  have also taught high school students, corporate executives, government representatives and non-profit leaders.  I have written multiple teaching cases on social marketing and advertising.  At American university, I primarily teach courses in Social Marketing and Advertising to undergraduate and graduate students.  

My interdisciplinary research examines marketplace topics related to race and diversity, using diverse research approaches, including film and photography.  I aim for my scholarship to enhance social justice for individuals and communities across markets, especially in commercial settings, population health and in the academy. 

I speak to academic, corporate, government and non-profit audiences on topics related to race in the marketplace, diversity initiatives, health equity, , targeted marketing, the practice of inter-disciplinary research the social impact of marketing and the use of marketing for social change. I love learning and am always interested in value-aligned engagement opportunities.
