My objective is to be employed in a working community that values my personal hard-work ethic, will reward my sense of initiative and innovation, and can further my knowledge and skill set. I really enjoyed solving problems and contributing in any way I can.

 

 

I have a great deal of experience mentoring and leading teams and individuals, it has taught me that the key is to help people develop to their personal fullest potential.

I have enjoyed working as a Chef and have built a great skill set in both practical hands on knowledge as well as executive leadership. However I felt the need to return to university to update and expand my knowledge base and change the way I looked at food. I am looking for employment where I can utilize my full range of abilities.

My background is in the hospitality industry and I have learned lot of various skills in that industry. I have excellent editorial and writing skills, and I am well organized and detail oriented. Very experienced using various computing platforms, as well as high proficiency in numerous business and media applications. Mentoring and team building are strengths of mine and I also have a lot of online research experience and understand many different types of search engines and search techniques, as well as how to organize and store the search results, or display the data.

Personal Executive Chef for A. James Clark, President and CEO of Clark enterprises (Largest privately owned construction company in the United States). Oversaw dining, hospitality and entertaining for numerous properties in five different states.

September 1, 2010- March 2013

Blackthorne INN and Restaurant Upperville, Virginia

Executive Chef- Opened and operated a large Country Inn with two kitchens, and a large catering operation. In charge of hiring and managing a large staff, controlling P&L, as well as menu development.
