About Me
Hello, my name is Katherine Blair and I am a member of the American University Class of 2021, where I am pursuing a BA in Law and Society and a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies. After I graduate I will be attending Law School, where I hope to gain JD and then pass the bar exam and become a prosecutor.
As a member of the American University Campus, I have been involved in numerous groups, including the Sigma Kappa Sorority as a member and a chairwoman, Phi Alpha Delta Pre Law Fraternity, the School of Public Affairs Leadership program, as well as worked multiple on-campus jobs, including as a Constitutional Law Teaching Assitant and a Desk Receptionist for AU’s Housing and Dining.
During my first year in the SPA Leadership program, I worked with a small group of other students to bring a consent table with safe sex information to my university. After that I worked on solo project called You Are Not Alone AU, to create a resource for victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment on AU’s campus.
Off campus I have continued to be involved in the Gender-Based Violence field, and in the Fall of 2019 I intered as a Communications and Development Intern with the National Network to End Domestic Violence. During my time here I conducted research, created social media content and worked with the fundraising team to achieve the 2019 Chef’s Take a Stand Fundraiser.
