About Me

Hi! My name is Kelsey Holtz, I am a second year student at American University in Washington D.C. studying International Studies in the School of International Service, Community Based Research in the Community Based Research Scholars Program, and Advanced Leadership Studies in the SPA Leadership Program.

Outside of school, I am a competitive figure skater through the Chicago Figure Skating Club and I am a US Figure Skating Gold Medalist for moves in the field. Through skating I have also been able to work, volunteer, and coach at the Ice Rink and also become exposed to many different people, views, and problems.

Community service and helping other people is a huge part of my life and I find most of my passion comes from these two things. I was able to volunteer and learn in Ecuador through school and I was able to further discover my love of  helping others as well as learn about other cultures and nations, knowledge which I hope to use in my future career.
