Goals & Objectives

The goalsĀ of the this program are to:

INFORM children about the benefits of healthy eating through well-rounded and comprehensive lesson plans that integrate literacy and learning.

INCREASE awareness of the importance of healthy eating and nutrition by providing opportunities for students to learn and cultivate their knowledge.

INTERACT with real fruits and vegetables through an after-school gardening project that teaches students and parents where their food comes from, how to care for it and the nutrients they provide to us.
