Policy Memo: Scorpion Prison
Within my Comparative Politics class I had the opportunity to write a policy memo on a current issue. I chose to write mine on an issue that is unknown to many but is very important. The policy memo focuses mainly on the human rights abuses occurring inside Scorpion Prison in Egypt. In order to solve the issue I recommend basing Egypt’s legal system off of the justice system in Nordic countries.

Speech: reSISTERS
This is a speech whose original purpose is for my college writing class. But, it is so much more than that.
I wrote this speech for every woman ever cat called, every woman ever shamed because her body isn’t what society has declared beautiful, every woman ever blamed for sexual assault, every woman ever told she’s too smart, every woman ever told she speaks too much, every woman ever abused, every woman ever put down, every woman ever told she needed to cover up, every woman ever called a “feminazi,” every woman ever labeled nasty woman, every woman ever discriminated against, every woman ever told she couldn’t hold public office, every woman ever silenced. Because now is our time, our time to speak up. And the best way to do that is through voting. Vote for someone to speak on your behalf in our government. Please share this and inspire other women and men to speak up and vote. Men of quality do not fear women of equality. Equal rights for all do not diminish the rights of others. So, march, run, vote and win.
