Over Spring 2019, I have interned for the non-profit organization The Eurasia Center. The mission of the organization is dedicated to improving the relationship between the U.S. and the nations of Eurasia and promote the integration of Slovak high culture by establishing the first American-Eurasian Art Foundation and Museum of Eurasia. The organization has founded The Eurasian Business Coalition, The Silk Road Summit, and Conference on the BRICS Nations.
The Eurasia Center recently received a precious art donation of Soviet theater and ballet masterpieces. I was managing the translations to the entire collection in order to introduce a bilingual presentation of artworks. Besides, all interns were tasked to conduct research on various critical topics concerning Eurasia and present a well-research policy brief. I have focused on researching future political prospect for Ukraine. My policy brief highlights all possible political, economic, and social aspects of Ukrainian integration in the EU and evaluates the effects of the potential coalition on the development of the nation. The research would be posted on The Eurasia Center website. Furthermore, my job includes sending out invitation emails to partners and important political figures to attend and participate in annual forums, conferences, and summits. Prior to contacting subscribers, I had to update an email list and surf the internet for private contact information. This requires great in-depth research and communication skills, as often I had to make direct calls to confirm information or participation. Moreover, I helped managing, planning and organizing events as well as providing assistance during those conferences.
