This is my presentation about the social action project I chose to pursue this year. I’ve chosen to focus on the affordability of sustainability. This sample of my work demonstrates my public speaking skills, as well as, my organizational skills. As a delegate in Model United Nations, I speak in front of committees ranging from 40 to 100 students about possible solutions for issues such as women’s rights and poverty around the world. Thus, I developed the skills for clear communication and assertiveness, as seen through this presentation. My organizational skills were mostly developed during my time in leadership in high school clubs but were also refined throughout the course of this semester as I took up positions (Complex Problem Program Leader, Crisis Director/Under-Simulation Director in AMERIMUNC).
