The Moore Fit Podcast is a place for female teen athletes to come together and learn all about how to stay fit and healthy for optimal performance and overall health.

Episode 1 

Today’s episode is all about fueling the female teen athlete for optimal performance and health!

We will touch upon why it is important to eat a pre and post-workout meal and potential negative impacts poor nutrition has on performance.  We’ll also discuss what the body needs for fuel pre and post-workout, as well as give you some ideas of what those meals or snacks could look like for you.  Lastly, there is nothing better than getting your teammates involved and having a support system to help you stay on track with healthy eating habits so I’ll share some creative ways to get your teammates involved so you can all eat healthy and perform at your highest level together.

***Reflection*** The podcast portion of this project was definitely the most fun! I learned the importance of story telling and capturing your audience and relaying information that is tailored to the target audience. I could definitely see myself doing more podcast episodes in the future.
