During my Junior year, I was lucky to get the opportunity to intern the office of Congresswoman Madeleine Dean in her Capitol Hill office. I was lucky enough to work on projects including researching legislation for the next Congress, finding media clips including the Congresswoman, and attending interesting hearings and writing memos about them. The most prevalent leadership style I observed was situational leadership, as no situation or day on Capitol Hill is ever the same.
